Blake has provided lectures on systems of temperament in choral music, popular vocal group history, jazz vocal technique, and the classical music of Black choral composers at various academic institutions including Cambridge University, University of Miami’s Frost School of Music, Western Michigan University, and University of Southern California’s Thornton School of Music.
